RAS Pre Syllabus in English PDF

The Preliminary Examination will consist of one objective type paper on the subject specified below, which will be of 200 marks. This paper will be of graduation level which is intended to be a screening test only. Candidates found qualified in the Preliminary Examination will be allowed to appear in the Main Examination and the marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination will not be added to the merit list.

  • The paper will have 150 objective type questions.
  • All questions will carry equal marks.
  • There will be negative marking in the exam.
  • 1/3 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
